Want to know an interesting story about how I started blogging. When I moved to Boston a few years ago I had to find a way to make friends in a new city and country. I did a google search and one of the suggestions was to start a blog and attend blogging events to meet new people. I found this appealing because I could get to meet new people while doing something fun.
This brings me to my weekend recap. A few bloggers and I met up at trendy Boston restaurant Trade were we had lunch, made flower arrangements and got swag bags from bumble bff which is an app that can help you make friends much easier than I did.
We started off with delicious appetizers . This Arugula salad was so simple but full off flavor. I am still trying to figure out what they added to give it some extra umami.
Doesn’t this tomato salad aka burrata look amazing. This was literally my favorite dish of the day. The tomatoes were so fresh, sweet and the cheese was amazing. Can’t wait to try this again.
The moment I saw the short rib grilled cheese sandwich I knew that was the item I would be ordering, and I wasnt the only one that chose this meal. It was a hit with the other girls.
Now came the flower arranging. We had some folks from Alice’s table who showed us how to make our own flower arrangements. I have to say I learnt a lot about putting together floral arrangements. Consider using Alice’s table for your next party, its so much fun.
My final product
Hope you enjoyed my weekend recap. What is your favorite thing to do on weekends? Have you tried the Bumble Bff app? I would love to hear from you.
