Brunch has become a popular meal time on weekends since a lot of us get up later than we do on weekdays. Brunch, being a combination of breakfast and lunch tends to be more filling and has more variety than breakfast. A few Boston bloggers and I were invited to try the new brunch menu at Joe’s American on Newbury Street in Boston. I had such a great time hanging with fellow bloggers and the food at Joe’s was delicious.

The menu is very American with dishes like biscuit and sausage gravy, corned beef hash and blueberry pancakes. I love that there is something for everyone including delicious granola, yogurt and seasonal fruit for those looking for something lighter. We had the pleasure of meeting chef Dan who was very pleasant and clearly passionate about his food. It’s always refreshing to meet a chef who cares about the dishes that are coming out of his kitchen.
So if ever you are in Boston and need to brunch with your friends and family, Joe’s American is definitely worth the visit. They are open 365 days a year which is amazing. You would not believe this restaurant was open everyday during that terrible winter we had in Boston . If that doesn’t show dedication I don’t know what else will.
Joe’s American Bar and Grill Hours

Joe’s Newbury has many meal options but if you want to go there to try their fabulous brunch menu remember that brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 11AM – 3PM.Since its located on Newbury street you can go shopping after your meal, now that’s my idea of a great day.
