A New York moment

After a great trip to New York I am glad to be back in Boston relaxing and living my regular life. I have been to New York before but what made this trip even better was the fact that my sister was with me and she was experiencing New York for the first time. Although I prefer the tranquility of living in the burbs the energy of New York is undeniably amazing.
We did the typical tourist activities however my favorite part was trying out new restaurants as you all know food is my first love. I put together some pictures to summarize my New York trip, pardon the unprofessional photographs.
Chilling the Sky Terrace
A walk in Time Square
Partying with my favorite girl
Lunch at the hottest seafood spot in NYC Catch
Another great lunch at The Smith restaurant
A quick alcohol free cocktail before the TMZ tour at the Summer Garden and Bar in Rockefeller Centre

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is bittersweet time for me as it is a time when families get together and I unfortunately have no family members around. Loneliness during the holidays is part of the life of an immigrant and all you have to do is realize that there are worse things in life and just enjoy the day off.
I use this day to relax and be grateful for all the blessings that have been given to me including my good health, family who are millions of miles away, my amazing boyfriend Marcus and just being alive. Its very important to give thanks. What are you thankful for this year?
