5 Reasons to try Arctic Zero fit frozen desserts

Have you guys heard of Arctic Zero fit frozen desserts? I have seen a lot of them on Instagram  so you can imagine my excitement when the Arctic Zero team reached out to have me sample their newest flavors. I was pleasantly surprised with the creaminess and flavor of their desserts especially since low-calorie  desserts tend to taste like ice.  I highly recommend these fit frozen desserts if you are seeking a healthier indulgence.

5 Reasons to try Arctic Zero Fit Frozen Desserts

  1. They are  made from premium and hormone free whey protein. In addition they are GMO free with no artificial ingredients…what!
  2. They are low in sugar and fat-free. Don’t worry, although they are low in sugar with no fat they make up for it in lots of flavor which is even better.
  3. They are low in calories. 1/2 cup contains between 35-75 calories depending on which flavor you choose. The calorie content is a fraction of most desserts.
  4. They are lactose free which means you can enjoy it if you are lactose intolerant.
  5. Tons of flavor options to choose from like snickerdoodle dandy, poppin pomegranate, cake batter and lots more fun flavors. My favorite is the brownie blast and the banana pudding pictured above.

I would just like to mention that if you are expecting it to taste exactly like ice cream then you will be disappointed however if you are expecting a healthier and tasty alternative, Arctic Zero is worth trying. Another important tip for maximum satisfaction is to let it sit out of the freezer for about 20 minutes before eating.

Do you still eat frozen desserts during cooler months like I do? I would love to hear from you!

Caramel Custard recipe and Dairy Pure Giveaway!

I recently teamed up with  the people of Dairy Pure Milk to share about their worry-free flip cap. After 2 weeks of using their milk I am glad to say Dairy Pure gets a thumbs up. One of the reasons I love their milk is because they have this thing called the 5 point purity checklist which ensures their milk is in its purest form e.g The cows are fed a nutritious diet and are free from artificial growth hormones.
Speaking of milk, this weekend my local grocery store had a good deal for a gallon of milk, however after using the milk for a rice bake I was left with tons of extra milk and that’s when the idea of making a caramel  custard came up.

This is an easy dessert to prepare and knowing that I was using pure milk made me feel less guilty about indulging. I am also loving the new worry free flip cap on Dairy Pure‘s milk container, the flip cap really makes it easier to use while protecting your milk. Imagine not having to look for the cap when you are done with the bottle … simple yet genius!
I also partnered up with Dairy Pure to host a great giveaway of 3 tote bags. These tote bags are great for grocery shopping plus you will feel good knowing you are helping our planet by not using plastic. see below for details.
