This is the for the meat and burger Lovers! If you live in Boston or around the area, Best Burger Bar in Brookline Village is the place to go if you want to try a really good burger.

Best Burger Bar announced a collaboration with Boston’s first craft distillery, Bully Boy Distillers, for a limited-edition December burger special, the Bully Boy Royale BurgerThe burger will be available through the month of December. You can also enjoy their fun menu, craft beer selection, milkshakes and signature cocktails while you are there.

The Bully Boy Royale Burger features a quarter-pound, dry-aged burger with black truffle foie gras mousse, and a jam infused with Bully Boy American Straight Whiskey, cranberry and bacon, sandwiched in-between a toasted bun. Sounds insanely delicious and that kind of treat you need on a Friday night after a long work week. Or any day when you feel like a good juicy burger!

How to make a burger meal like a Pro

One of the best feelings is when you bite into a juicy burger when you are hungry. I don’t know what it is that makes burgers so popular. Perhaps its the combination of carbs, protein, leafy greens and a delicious sauce that creates a party in your mouth. Burgers are good in all forms, from vegetarian black bean burgers to all beef cheese burgers. There is no denying that burgers are one of the best food creations.

Spicy ground turkey burgers with Sriracha mayo and Arugula

I am going through a burger phase lately and today I am going to share one of my world famous ground turkey burgers. Well they are not really world famous but I would like to think they would be. The ground turkey is mixed with fresh herbs, garlic and spicy harissa for amazing flavor.

Ground turkey burger recipe

Ingredients
1pound ground dark meat turkey
4 soft burger rolls
1 egg beaten
1/2 medium onion minced other half sliced
2 large cloves garlic
1 handful fresh parsley
2 tsp harissa
4 slices Swiss cheese
1 large tomato sliced
Arugula
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tsp sriracha sauce
peanut oil
salt and freshly ground pepper
Directions
– Preheat oven to 350 degrees
– Mince 1/2 onion, garlic and parsley in a food processor
– In a large bowl gently mix ground turkey with onion, garlic, parsley, harissa and egg. Form into round patties.
– heat an oven safe pan, add peanut oil and brown burger patties for about 3 minutes on each side
– Place burgers in the oven and cook for about 10 minutes.
– While burgers are cooking toast burger rolls and mix sriracha with mayonnaise
– Top burgers with sliced onions and Swiss cheese and put back in the oven to allow cheese to melt
– Once patties are ready, spread sriracha mayo on the buns then follow with the cheesy burger patties, tomato then Arugula. Enjoy!

Easy barbecue turkey burger recipe

I love making burgers on Friday nights and my go to burger recipe is a barbecue turkey burger with caramelized onions. This burger is full of flavor so much that you will not want order takeout burgers after trying it. What makes this burger recipe easy is that a good quality store bought barbecue sauce is used instead of making one from scratch. The caramelized onions add a intense level of flavor and are an important component to the recipe. 
Ingredients
1 lb ground dark meat turkey
1 egg
2 mushrooms
2 gloves garlic
1 spring onion
1/4 medium yellow onion
1/2 a cup plain barbecue sauce
1 large onion sliced and caramelized
4 slices Swiss or American cheese
salt and freshly ground pepper
4 burger buns
dressing
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1/4 tsp sriracha sauce
2 tbsp fresh parsley minced
Directions
– Preheat oven to 350 degrees and mix dressing ingredients in a small bowl. Set aside
– Mince garlic, 1/4 yellow onion, spring onion and mushrooms in a food processor.
– Mix ground turkey , onion mix , barbecue sauce and egg in a large bowl and form into large patties
– Cook in a oiled griddle pan until browned on both sides (about 5 mins) and then place in the oven for another 10 minutes till fully cooked. Add slice of cheese on top of each patty 2 minutes before removing from oven.
– Let burgers sit while you prepare lettuce, tomatoes and toast buns.

Turkey Burgers with Cilantro Mayo

Nothing feels good as biting into a tasty and juicy burger in my opinion. Since I am not a big fan of fast food I like to make my own burgers at home as the flavor is more intense and I can control the fat content. I got inspiration for this turkey burger with cilantro mayo from Chef Emeril and added my own twist to the recipe.
When I made this burgers for my boyfriend the other day, he was asking for more.This recipe is very easy to make and is perfect for a Friday evening after work while watching a ball game.

Ingredients
1 lb ground turkey
2 cloves garlic minced
1/2 small onion
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
1 tablespoon ketchup
salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp curry powder
1/2 tsp cumin
1 egg beaten
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
lettuce, tomatoes and thinly sliced red onions.

for cilantro mayo:
3/4 cup low fat mayonnaise
1/4 cup fresh cilantro finely chopped
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1 tsp light soy sauce
1 garlic clove minced

Directions

  • Put all the cilantro mayo ingredients in a blender, blend until smooth and chill in the refrigerator.
  • In a large bowl mix all the first 11 ingredients and form into patties.Make sure not to over mix the mixture as this results in tough burgers.
  • Cook Patties in a skillet over medium heat turning once, do not press down the patties as this will squeeze out juices.
  • Serve burgers on buns with the cilantro mayo, lettuce, thinly sliced red onions and tomato. Add avocado if you like.
