You have probably seen many glazed ham recipes floating around this time of year and there is a reason why this dish is so popular. It looks amazing, is easy to make and tastes great. What makes this Cranberry Glazed Hatfield® Uncured Ham Recipe a step above the rest is the use of uncured, nitrate free, artificial ingredient free, juicy and smoky Hatfield Uncured Ham.

Sliced Hatfield Uncured Ham

If you follow Spoons and Stilettos you probably know that I am a big fan of Hatfield products because of their full flavor, high quality and convenience. When it comes to meat my goal is to always serve ethically raised local products which Hatfield does.

Because not everyone has a big family, Hatfield now makes it easier to serve delicious holiday meals to families big or small. They have new smaller sized ham products which are available in ½ Pre-Sliced Pit Ham, ¼ Pre-Sliced Ham with Natural Juices or With Water added.

The Recipe:

I made this particular recipe recently and OMG, it turned out to be the best ham I’ve ever made. Everyone loved it and raved about how impressive, moist and flavorful it was. The leftover ham can be used for sandwiches, salads, frittatas and more. I love to use it for ham sandwiches for work. You can even use the left over sauce on so many things.

Looking at it you would think I spent hours in the kitchen but on the contrary it was pretty easy to make. The convenience of buying the already cooked Hatfield® Uncured Ham is a huge plus. With only 5 ingredients and minimal prep it is the perfect dish for busy parents and beginner cooks.

Useful Cranberry Glazed Hatfield® Ham Recipe Tips:
  • You can substitute honey for maple syrup
  • If you do not have any Dijon mustard you can substitute with dry mustard.
  • For extra flavor, insert a whole clove into each cut intersection or in the water used when baking the ham
  • The glaze can burn quickly, so check it frequently to prevent a blackened skin.
