Eating out: Bonefish Grill, Westwood Review

I recently made my first visit to Bonefish Grill, a seafood restaurant located in a new outdoor shopping spot in Westwood known as University Station.
Being the food snob that I am, I was little sceptical about a seafood restaurant since there is a chance that you will get bland or overcooked seafood. However after my first bite I knew I would love this place. Each dish I tasted was packed with flavor and most importantly it was tender.
The grilled Chilean Sea bass was the best I have tasted in a while. If you love salmon you have to try Bonefish grill’s salmon topped with mango salsa…simply delish.
Appetizers were served with an array of sauces and I must say the calamari was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy inside.
As if one starter wasn’t enough I also tried the Ahi tuna sashimi which was one of my favorites including the bang bang shrimp which I hear is a popular choice.
They served a chicken dish called Lilly’s chicken which is a tender piece of chicken topped with goat cheese, spinach, artichoke hearts with a lemon basil sauce. Need I say more.

I was glad to know that Bonefish Grill also serves beef, lamb and pork for those times when you want something other than seafood. With menu items such as Rib eye steak, Grilled lamb chops and BBQ glazed pork chops there is something for everyone.

So if you were to ask me if I would go back to Bonefish Grill, I would say yes and would suggest you try it too.
although this was a complementary meal, the opinions in this post are completely my own.
